Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
BdeshiLocal is run by Bdesh Inc. This policy explains what information we collect when you use BdeshiLocal and how we use it.
Information you give us
- Contact messages: your name, email address, and message. We keep them and email them to [email protected] so we can reply.
- Posts: classifieds, directory listings, events, message board topics, and replies. Anything you put in these forms is public once it is approved. Do not include information you want to keep private.
- Advertising: if you buy an ad, the business name, contact details, and creative you send us.
Information collected automatically
- IP address: we store only a keyed hash of your IP address, never the address itself. We use it to limit how many posts one network can make per day and to block abuse.
- Cookies: a cookie remembers the city you chose, and a session cookie supports forms, spam checks, and the admin login. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- Server logs: our hosting provider may keep standard request logs, such as time, page, and browser type.
How we use information
We use it to run the site, show your posts, answer contact messages, prevent spam and abuse, and keep the site safe. We do not sell personal information.
Information from other sources
- Business details: some directory listings come from Google Places or public web directories. Google data is shown with Google attribution, and Google's terms apply to it.
- News: headlines and short summaries come from news publishers. Each item links to the original article.
Your choices
- Classifieds can be edited or deleted with the edit code you received when you posted.
- To remove a listing, event, or other post you submitted, or to ask us to delete a contact message, email [email protected].
- You can clear the city cookie in your browser settings at any time.
Children
BdeshiLocal is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
